McQueen KnightRiders Privacy Notice

At McQueen KnightRiders (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a non-profit youth mountain bike team for grades 5–12, we value your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect through our website and contact form (“Services”), how we use and share it, and your choices. By using our Services, you agree to this Notice.
Personal information means information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to a specific person. It does not include deidentified or aggregated information.
What we collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, and any other information you choose to include in your message. Please do not submit sensitive information (e.g., Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information).
- If the submitter is a minor, we ask that a parent or legal guardian submit the inquiry whenever possible.
Information collected automatically by our hosting provider
- Our website is hosted by GoDaddy. When you visit the site, GoDaddy may automatically collect log and device information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, date/time stamps, and the site that referred you. They may use cookies or similar technologies for security, performance, and site functionality.

How we use information
- Respond to and manage inquiries and requests.
- Operate, secure, and improve our website (including preventing spam, abuse, and fraud).

- We do not sell your personal information.

- We keep contact form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for reasonable recordkeeping, then delete or deidentify them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Your choices).
Security
- We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
- Our website is intended for parents/guardians and community members. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
- For minors 13–17, we encourage parental involvement and, where feasible, ask that a parent or guardian submit inquiries on the minor’s behalf.
Your choices and rights
- You can choose not to submit personal information through the contact form.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the information below. We will honor these requests subject to applicable law and our operational needs.
- If we ever send informational emails, you may opt out by following the instructions in those emails or by contacting us.
Cookies and Do Not Track
- We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics on our own. Our hosting provider may use necessary cookies for security and functionality. Most browsers let you control cookies through settings.
- We do not track users across third-party websites and do not respond to Do Not Track signals. Our hosting provider’s practices may differ; see their policy.
Third-party links
- Our website may link to external sites (e.g., league sites, registration platforms, social media). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
International visitors
- Our website is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those in your country.
